Pasifika Plan
The primary aim is to help the immigrant communities become self-sufficient, healthy groups which are integrated and involved in the wider Mahurangi community, while retaining and being proud of their own heritage and cultures.
GIRL Mentoring
This is a 20 week course for college aged students. The overall aim of this program is to help individuals set attainable goals and make good choices, which includes regular attendance at school and positive engagement in classes.
Mahu Target
Mahu Target is an “After School Language Enhancement Program” Rietta Young TTC, is the supervisor. The Mahu Target program has 12-20 children attending on a regular basis.
24/7
We have been given the opportunity to trial this program at Mahurangi College during 2016.
Warkworth Food-link
The Mahu Vision Community Trust undertakes the management and delivery of the Warkworth Christian Foodlink on behalf of the Anglican, Catholic, Methodist and Presbyterian churches of Mahurangi region.
